Earl Beth (Lewis) Yates

Earl Beth Yates, lovingly known to most as “Beth”, 86, of Victoria, Texas passed away Monday, June 22, 2026.

Beth lived with a steady devotion to family, faith, and the everyday work that quietly sustains a community. Her life reflected a consistent sense of purpose—shown in the care she gave to others, the responsibilities she carried with pride, and the enduring love she held for those closest to her.

Beth worked at HEB in the meat department and later served Victoria ISD in Child Nutrition for 13 years. In each role, she brought reliability and diligence to the tasks before her, offering the kind of dependable presence that coworkers and families come to value deeply.

She also made time for the simple joys that bring people together—square dancing, country opry, and watching sports, especially baseball. In her church life, Beth was a member of Baptist Temple, where she taught Sunday school, sharing faith with patience and care, and offering guidance through steady example. A mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Beth found meaning in the bonds of family and the generations that followed.
